The role
The role
Primerli is looking for a Project Manager with a management consulting background to help us raise the bar in digital learning. This is a freelance, project-based engagement with a flexible timeline, but the ideal duration is 3-6 months
While the company is based in California, you will be working remotely with a global team, leading end-to-end digital content production for our online industry primers and building our content strategy.

Remember that time when you were staffed on a case but didn’t know anything about your client's industry? That problem never went away, and we want to solve it.
In fact, you are not alone. Many professionals around the world, from an investment banking associate to a fresh graduate who started a new job after college, experience the same problem. They have to learn how an industry works fast, and there is currently no easy way to do that.
We’re a digital learning startup with a simple goal: bring anyone up to speed on an industry in under an hour. We currently work with some of the top management consulting firms and are looking to expand beyond the consulting industry soon.
The founder is a former BCG principal who worked in consulting for more than eight years and has done projects in the Middle East, Istanbul, London, and New York.

Primerli’s purpose is to raise the bar for what digital learning can be – starting with engaging and accessible industry primers.
Let’s face it: most professional learning content is notoriously low quality. It’s boring, slow, and ineffective. At the same time, “content” elsewhere is more engaging than ever. At Primerli, we are taking the modern standards of structure, storytelling, and production quality and applying them to create learning content that is not just effective but also enjoyable. Humans are curious creatures - learning should be a delightful experience, and it can be.

What does a Project Manager do?
Essentially, you will be the movie director. You’ll own the production of online industry primers from ideation to launch by leading a team of industry experts, an animation team, voice over artist, and a creative editor. Day-to-day responsibilities include
● Collaborating with experts around the world to learn how different industries work
● Pitching visual story ideas to explain complex business concepts in an engaging way
● Creating witty and concise scripts for the production team to turn into animated videos
● Working with production to visualize the scenes in storyboards
● Guiding the production team through the process to ensure the final product is engaging
