The role
We are looking for a hands-on data engineer who can own Primerli’s technology support function. Primerli is skyrocketing on a 10X growth trajectory, and we are upgrading our data infrastructure and workflow to meet our future needs. You will play a vital role in this exciting journey, via the following responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines
- Create dashboards in BI software to support metrics reporting and customer success
- Identify efficiency improvement opportunities in current workflow and incorporate automation to scale up operations
- Support the leadership team with other technical needs
This role requires 10 hours of work per week, and we'd love to bring on board someone for a long-term commitment (more than 12 months). While the company is based in California, you will be working remotely with a global team and reporting directly to the Operations Project Lead.
What we are looking for
Data engineering experience: you have strong technical skills in ETL and workflow automation, and always sanity check your work. Fluency with Python is a must
Familiarity with BI software: you have experience with Business Intelligence software (e.g., PowerBI, Looker)
Communications: you can communicate technical terms in plain language and defend ideas effectively
Strong values: you care about others, not just yourself, and you see competitiveness as complementary, not a barrier, to showing compassion, kindness, and empathy
Get-stuff-done attitude: you are self-motivated, can manage timelines, and stay true to your commitments
Growth mindset: you are intellectually curious and willing to learn new technologies to adapt to the dynamic scope of this role
Broader engineering experience: experience in test engineering, security controls and web development is a plus
