Modern business has become the Tower of Babel: every industry has its own language. If you speak your client's language, you connect and find a way in. And if you don’t, you’re flying blind with a surface-level understanding. Companies spend millions on dull, slow, and unscalable solutions. The traditional go-tos – SMEs, in-house content, and live training – aren’t working.
We created a new way to learn an industry in under an hour (imagine the “I know kung fu” scene from The Matrix, but for business), using fun animated stories produced like a media product. Our primers are widely used by the world's top consulting and technology firms, with 90%+ completion rates, rave reviews, and hundreds of deals won and projects delivered.
Primerli is scaling fast and we are evolving our operations to power that growth trajectory. We are looking for a candidate who is curious, resourceful, and ready to roll up their sleeves and make things happen.
The Role
This role sits at the center of the business. You will report to the CEO and work with the leadership team to ensure the company executes effectively across Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
You will help Primerli operate with clarity, speed, and discipline, while also solving complex strategic problems as they arise. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in consulting who enjoys moving between strategy and execution.
What You'll Do
Mandate
Own the operational backbone of Primerli and work cross-functionally to solve the company’s most important problems.
Responsibilities
Problem Solving (50%)
- Work directly on the company’s most important challenges, for example:
- Re-design the Primerli learning experience and user journey
- Experiment with ways to incorporate AI and automation across the company
- Diagnose and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Help key enterprise clients troubleshoot technical issues
Business Operations (40%)
- Own mission-critical workflows, such as procurement and client onboarding
- Build dashboards and reporting to track business health and product usage
- Continuously improve internal processes to increase efficiency
Strategic Initiatives (10%)
- Execute projects that shape how Primerli operates and scales, for example:
- Evaluate whether Primerli should migrate to a new content delivery system
- Analyze build vs. partner options for technology investments

Experience & Skills
- 3-6 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier firm
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong analytical skills and data fluency (experience with Python, SQL or similar tools strongly preferred)
- Ability to move between strategic thinking and detailed hands-on execution
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
Nice-to-have
- Entrepreneurial experience (e.g., founder, side project, independent venture)
- Interest in learning, teaching, or education
- STEM background
- Experience in AI and/or automation

Location and Work Environment
While the company is based in California, you will work remotely with a global team. We are open to candidates based in the United States and Canada. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones and traveling quarterly to co-locate for leadership events.
