Project-based work is growing across all sectors, with professionals applying their specific functional skills across clients in multiple industries. To succeed, these professionals have to get up to speed fast, becoming experts on an industry overnight. Whether you’re a consultant or a freelancer, this currently results in a lot of time wasted doing desk research and reading long, boring industry reports - and you still have no idea what’s going on.

That’s where we come in. We partner with industry experts with decades of experience to distill their knowledge into bite-sized, animated content that is easy to understand and enjoyable to watch. In just one hour, our learners can gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of any industry, allowing them to ask informed questions, and serve their clients with confidence. The role

Essentially, you will be the movie director. You’ll own the production of online industry primers from ideation to launch by leading a team of industry experts, a production team, and a voice-over artist. Day-to-day responsibilities include

  • Collaborating with experts around the world to learn how different industries work
  • Creating witty and concise scripts for the production team to turn into animated videos
  • Pitching visual story ideas to explain complex business concepts in an engaging way
  • Working with production to visualize the scenes in storyboards
  • Guiding the production team through the process to ensure the final product is engaging

This is a freelance, project-based engagement with a flexible timeline, but the ideal duration is 3-6 months.

While the company is based in California, you will be working remotely with a global team and reporting directly to the founder, who is a former BCG Principal with more than eight years of consulting experience across different geographies.
